That requirement was imposed for more than a decade with two aims: firstly, to give themselves an identity from the Fair, to distinguish him from the others that are organized in several Spanish cities, most notably, with the intention of overcome the huge gap that has Spanish literature regarding quality works in this genre.

In addition to the regular participants of most Latin American countries - especially Cuba, Mexico, Uruguay, Bolivia and Argentina - and almost all the other Spanish regions and cities from the rest of Europe this year have been submitted works as far afield as Israel, North America, Japan and the Australian continent.

There have been a total of 752 works.
