Rafael Ortiz Martínez has taken over today as the new Municipal Group Socialist councilor in the city of Sewell.
In a ceremony held in the Plenary Hall Sewer, the newest member of the Corporation has pledged to honor and enforce the Constitution to the local mayor, Lazarus Mellado, and other council members, who have welcomed with heartfelt applause.
Rafa Martínez was born on November 30, 1963 in Sewell, a degree in English from the University of Murcia, and works as an English teacher in the town for nearly two decades.
He is married to fellow socialist Paqui Hernández, and has two sons, Rafael and Paula.
