The renovation and expansion of local police units Sewer, which began today and will conclude at the end of the year, will involve an investment of 402,367 euros, of which 349,937 are provided by the Presidential and Public Administration, through General Directorate of Local Government, Institutional and External Relations, and the remainder by the City.
The building houses the Center for Public Safety of the municipality and now has 1,200 square meters of surface.
The reform will extend to 400 square meters the current surface to improve the livability of the property.
Once the works, with the adequacy of various offices and facilities in the ground floor will house the access control and operational central 092, and an area for citizen services and a car yard Termination Service Fire and Rescue.
On the first floor is located the local police, on the mezzanine Service Fire Fighting and Rescue, and the second, civil protection services and medicalized Emergency Unit (UME).
