Sewer Local Police has today with six new motorcycles that will organize further patrols and strengthen public safety in the municipality.
The Director General of Local Government, Javier Iniesta, today presented the mayor of the town, Lazarus Mellado, new police vehicles, which involves an investment of 30,120 euros from the Ministry of the Presidency and government.
The performance is funded through annual grants awarded by the Autonomous Region for improvements in municipal police and joins another grant late last year to implement improvement works in the current units of the local police, amounting to 402,000 euros.
Iniesta reiterated the efforts made by the regional government to provide municipalities with "more and better resources through various programs and subsidies intended to ensure that the citizens of the region receive some services in optimal conditions."
