This week, from 22 to 26 June, will be in our town, a bus chartered the Institute for Women in the Region of Murcia, along with the Integra Foundation, to allow in only five sessions to get to this mobile classroom to present the world of technology, internet and communication to access a multitude of services and resources.
The mobile classroom comes down the municipalities of the Region of Murcia from 14 April.
The bus has been installed on Main Street, opposite the former location of the supermarket Mercadona in Alto de Pacum.
There among others, a total of 44 women from the city, divided into 3 groups of 8 to 15 people have opted for training in the bus, forming three groups two in the morning on a 9:30 to 11: 30 hours and from 11:30 to 13:30 and afternoon and from 17:30 to 20:00.
The buses are equipped so that it is possible to bring the Internet and new technologies not only to areas such as Sewer, where we have proper access to internet and other new technologies, but also to areas of difficult access due to lack of adequate infrastructure communications or because they are towns of small size.
The Mobile Classroom is, in short, a firm commitment to bring the Information Technology and Communication (ICT) to rural women so as to establish a first contact and the participants begin to see the Internet as an everyday and can open up many possibilities for employment, training, health and leisure.
