Recently, following the conclusion of the relevant General Assembly elections, the Centre for Footwear Technology and Plastics (CETEC) has elected new president Blas Marín López, acting as representative for Anfra Industries, a company dedicated to the processing of plastics.
Marin, who was born in Sewell in 1958, Industrial Engineer, spent the last fifteen years as the Director General of Industry Anfra and so far came in his role as senior vice president of CETEC.
As first impressions, Marin stressed the importance of the plastics sector in the regional economy and was pleased to specialize in Murcia of Vocational Training in the sector.
Among the objectives is CETEC new board he chairs, is to increase the number of partners, activities and projects as well as making a reference CETEC national R + D + i applied to plastic.
CETEC, born in 1994 and belongs to the Network of Technological Centres in the Region of Murcia, promoted by the Ministry of Universities, Business and Innovation through INFO, currently has 68 member companies, is accredited by ENAC for laboratory testing for footwear and plastic, and has become a multi-sectoral research center in expansion, with major interventions in the field of nanotechnology, which has improved the quality of plastic used in agriculture, military and even sports .
