The Emergency Department this morning held a mock warning the population to a hypothetical chemical emergency Sewer risk, so that citizens of this town and the hamlet of Sangonera la Seca Murcia, learn to recognize acoustic signals that warn of the beginning and end of the risk.
The test, which was attended by the Minister of Presidency and Public Administration, María Pedro Reverte, and the mayor of the town, Lazarus Mellado, involved in the activation of the sirens that emit acoustic signals.
The beginning of the alert is distinguishable audible signals sound at intervals of one minute, followed by a pause of five seconds, three minutes to complete, and the purpose of chemical risk alert notes with a single sign of 30 seconds duration.
