Sewer Mayor Lazaro Mellado and MicroBank commercial director, Ramón Gatell, today signed a cooperation agreement to finance microcredit.

The agreement between MicroBank (social bank "la Caixa") and the City will facilitate the lending of small amounts aimed at those with difficulty accessing traditional credit system.

It will support and encourage the development of innovative projects for people with entrepreneurial spirit.

The ceremony was also attended by the Deputy Mayor for Finance, Industry and Trade, Juan José Gómez and business area director of "la Caixa", Jose Ruiz.
