The director of the Institute for Women in the Region of Murcia (iMRM), Teresa Moreno, said today during the presentation of the Training Plan Area Women's City Sewer, that "plans are excellent training tools for advancing equal opportunities between women and men ", and encouraged municipalities to Murcia's place in their municipalities.
Moreno stressed the importance of including a gender perspective in training, since "gender is a key element in social relations and should be in every training program that is launched."
In this sense, the director of iMRM welcomed the initiative of the Department of Women's City Sewer starting a directory of activities "with major social issues of importance to women."
