Agreeing that the situation of Roma with low education levels and high unemployment rates, requires the implementation of active measures in the fields of vocational training and employment for full social integration.
In this sense, we consider the Roma as a distinct group, whose work requires insertion process, as manifested by the experts, and given its peculiarities and cultural differences, a specialized and comprehensive treatment, which must be driven with a positive global policy, so as to overcome partial or fragmented actions, as well as the risk of the spread of available resources.
The common objective of the actions to be undertaken by the FSG will be to improve the capacity of integration and inclusion of Roma in the labor market and employment and the promotion of active social policies with the same, especially on matters of occupational training, career counseling, rehabilitative counseling, assistance in access to employment, awareness campaigns aimed at employers and public bodies, research and methodology to apply to programs.
