The president of the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura (CHS), José Salvador Fuentes Zorita, along with the mayor of Sewell, Lazarus Mellado, accompanied by Commissioner's Water CHS, Aldeguer and Pedro Manuel Marin Municipal Socialist Group spokesperson, have this morning visited the site of Water Chamber, Sewer, where is the source and water source or bitter salt, as it is known, once they have completed the environmental adaptation works sociorecreativa Segura River, in passage through this place, continuing to bet that the Confederacy is in the recovery of river areas for citizens.
In this space, located on the right bank of the river Segura, is the source of salt water, where management has made this for fun and recreation for the people of Sewer and important place of popular support for attendance at the area, with the Chapel of the Patron and facing one of the most important areas of history, culture, customs and traditions of this town because this nucleus is in the Museo de la Huerta, the popular Wheel of Sewell, along with the medieval legacy of arcs or aqueduct that provides all this space.
The Segura basin has been landscaped green spaces, more compatible with the hydraulic functionality of the channel, while rustic furniture placed and protective devices on roads and paths.
Also, the source itself has been repaired and be protected from possible vandalism by access control gates.
The recovered space serves as an extension in the green zone environment Ermita de la Virgen de la Salud Sewer, while that may be enjoyed and used by coastal residents of the area (Sewell, Javalí Old, New Javalí Puebla de Soto ) and the neighbors will enjoy a natural environment.
