The Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Sotoca Constantine, accompanied by the mayor of Sewell, Lazarus Mellado, and the director general of Department, María José Jiménez, today made the first stone of a new pavilion and Primary Education which will the creation of 225 new positions in the Public School 'Jara Carrillo', thus covering the needs of education in the area.

Sotoca said that "the construction of the new pavilion we take a step forward in our commitment to improving elementary and primary education, a goal that includes the Social Pact for Education, still in force and will soon be renovated to conform and adapt to changes they occur. "

The construction of this pavilion represents a total investment of 695,145 euros, of which the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment provides 486,786 euros and 208,359 City Sewer.

The Minister stressed that "it is very important for the development of educational policy communication and collaboration with local councils" and stressed "the work of the municipal corporation through its mayor, his deputy mayor and Councillor for Education."

The construction of this extension of the third line, with three classrooms and six Primary Children responds to the needs of education in the area.

The new pavilion will occupy a built area of 524 square meters, with floor aimed at early childhood education classrooms, toilets, reception and offices, and the first floor, with 606 square meters for primary pupils, offices and toilets.
