Monday morning, five in the afternoon is open to the public in the Sewer Industrial Circle, exposure of the 23 papers presented at the Competition for the definition of the Master Plan of the new parks built in this town, including three winners, along with the three who have received the second prize.
There will also be awards to the winners of it.
The exhibition is open from Monday 10 to Sunday 16 November from 10 am to 21:30 pm.
The contest of ideas presented is framed in the context of the municipal strategy "SEWER GROW GREEN" contained in the Strategic Plan for Sustainable Development of the municipality, which includes a set of guidelines for the short, medium and long term measures taken by the City Council and aimed at improving the urban environment and quality of life of citizens.
With an area of 400,000 m2, including the surroundings of the Museum of the Huerta, Salah Water Park, the linear park on the land that will clear the rail and Entrevías area, is to create a new lung for our people, consisting of an integrated network of green spaces, meeting places, gardens, parks, small and large equipment.
The Master Plan, which will draw the winner team is going to establish baselines of this ambitious project, which later will be developed in several stages.
The first one is already underway and consists of the "Rehabilitation and Revitalization archaeological, environmental and socio-economic complex of the Ethnological Museum of the Huerta de Murcia" for which they have managed to 3,400,000 euros of European funds.
In this context, last May, called the contest was a great success, eventually performing a total of 23 works which include high quality and the provision of many innovative ideas aimed at achieving the sustainable development claim.
The jury, which integrates various renowned architects, after tough discussions and indicated the quality of work, finally agreed unanimously to grant the following awards:
