This morning presented today at the Plaza de San Pedro, across from City Hall Sewer, the new ambulance for the transfer of the users of the new Day Care Centre "Pedro Hernández Caballero", with the presence of the Mayor Sewell, Lazarus Mellado, the Deputy Mayor for Health and Social Services, Monica Garcia, together with the director of the Levante area of Caja Madrid, José Blanca Bertomeu and other executives, as this is the entity that has donated the vehicle through of Social Work.
The vehicle is a Renault Master Combi is adapted for the transfer of persons USERS Day Care Center "Pedro Hernández Caballero, valued for their personal situation of need.
It has capacity for 9 people, in our case each trip made by the transfer of 7 people, girls and 2 people in direct care (nursing assistant conductor and en route support. The car comes prepared with manual ramp for the movement of people wheelchair.
Currently made four trips, two collection of users from the stops as indicated in the mornings, and two shuttle to the stop next to the homes in the afternoon.
Benefit from it 13 people out of 17 users / as are there in the middle.
On 9 October last year the City Sewer and Caja Madrid signed the cooperation agreement for "Acquisition of a socio-medical vehicle" for an amount of 26,500 euros.
