Hundreds of children and adults with their respective animals have been given another year appointment to meet in the festival of San Antonio Abad (Saint Anthony), near the hamlet of Water "Room" and the Hermitage of Ntra. Sra. Health (Patron Sewer), opposite the Museum of the Huerta, to accompany the patron saint of animals in the events every year traditionally organized.
Both the Mass and blessing of animals is organized by the Brotherhood of St. Anton Sewer, he attended his butler, Fulgencio Sanchez Riquelme, also official chronicler of our city, along with the Mayor of Sewell, Joaquin Buendia and various members the Municipal Corporation which already joined this ancient celebration.
At 16:30 pm Mass was held inside the chapel of our patron, celebrated by the pastor of the Church of St. Peter the Apostle Sewer, José Antonio Moreno Granados, the completion image of St. Anthony was taken up the steps of the esplanade of the shrine which has carried out the blessing of all pets that hundreds of children and elderly people have this festival every year, accompanied by many residents of Sewell and other neighboring towns moving our population.
Children have the opportunity to enjoy the natural environment that surrounds the shrine and source of salt water and spend a lazy afternoon in the usual attractions or do the shopping as usual positions inexcusable treats and balloons, which delight the smallest, spending the afternoon shopping at the various positions typical "cascaruja" or snack next to the River Segura.
