Councillor for IU-Greens in the City Sewer, Silvia Martinez, has demanded the government team that ensures the maintenance service cafeteria in the summer.
Martinez said that the economic crisis that has been dragging since too many years ago, and which rests on foundations of social inequality and a weak welfare state has meant among other consequences, increasing child poverty.
He also stated that "in Sewell are few cases of children whose only full meal a day is doing in school.
Therefore the initiative presented by our group aims to ensure children at risk of social exclusion, which during the period can not attend school canteens and not deprived of adequate food when finished the course. "
