A course at the International University Campus Mar-Mare Nostrum show the scientific, technical and historical knowledge of skydiving and the material used by the paratroopers.
The activity was held at the Air Base Sewer from 7 to 10 July.
"Second Course: Skydiving: history, teaching and research" is the title of the activity led by Ignacio Martinez Gonzalez-Moro, professor of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Murcia and Pedro A. Diaz Herrero, Lieutenant Colonel and deputy-head of the EMP Estudos, show students the education and training systems, both manual opening jumps as automatic as well as gantries, simulators or wind tunnel.
It will be addressed in the course characteristics, history and activities of the Acrobatic Patrol (PAPE) and Sapper Squadron (EZAPAC).
Military Parachute School Mendez Parada, of the Air Force, is the only of Spain, meeting in the European elite and constituting an international benchmark for its modern facilities.
Those who enroll in this activity will be entitled to 2.5 elective credits or 1 credit ECTS-CRAU.
