"The extraordinary length and intensity of the crisis that began with the implosion of the housing bubble in 2007, is due to the kind of policies that have been implemented, policies against common sense and against all historical evidence, have been increasingly depressed aggregate demand and GDP Fact:. the previous crisis (1993 1994) lasted less than a year and GDP fell by only 1%, and the current crisis lasts seven years and GDP has come to drop a -4' 4% ".
"Neoliberalism always offers the same recipes: labor reforms that facilitate and cheapen the dismissal, social cuts that reduce the quality of life of workers ... is a kind of obsessed weaken the bargaining position of workers from large companies thought. The over-exploitation of workers is no longer out of the crisis, only it leads to a wilder and less prosperous society ".
"A future economists, who study in our universities today (and in our schools), must be offered teaching critical Economics, more plural, which perceive that the market is an option and not a necessity. From Otherwise we are doomed to repeat in the future the same mistakes (housing bubbles) and to apply the recipes mimas (labor reforms, cuts in state welfare ...) ".
