Joaquín Francisco Atenza was elected Saturday IU-Greens candidate for mayor of Sewell in a primary process in which he won 97 percent of votes and who attended 81 percent of registered supporters and activists.
For municipal list were elected José Ángel Durán (564 points);
Silvia Martinez (348);
Juan Manuel Lillo (317);
Jana Lorenzo (249) and Cayetano Salas (207).
As a zipper list, which alternate in men and women, the order of the candidates for alderman of 2 to 5 will Martínez posts;
Duran;
Lillo and Jana Lorenzo.
After being proclaimed, Atenza indicated that the objectives of IU-Greens are the redistricting of basic services, the fight against unemployment and foreclosures, solve the problem of public transport and take the train to the town center.
Atenza has also advocated greater control of pollution sources;
the enhancement of cultural and natural heritage and the protection of the garden, with the creation of urban gardens.
