The Brotherhood of the First Lady of Pain Sewer (Murcia), has been designated as worthy of Corpus 2015 Award, an award given annually by the Confraternity of the Most Holy Body of Christ "Lord of the World" and Entombment and which this year celebrates 5th edition.
His known love for the Corpus Christi and its delivery and devotion to it, have made this Brotherhood, all-female, be awarded this recognition, which will be given in the Supper of Honor of the Confraternity to be held next March 20 after Claustral Procession with the image of Christ Lying in St. Peter the Apostle Church in this city.
Traditionally, the Brotherhood manufactures a carpet of sand to the arrival of the Custody carrying the body of Christ in the Corpus Christi procession in which many sisters of the same part.
Since the creation of this award is the first time that an institution is awarded the Region of Murcia, having received prior institutions Toledo, Seville, Granada and Valladolid.
