Agents of the National Police arrested last third of July the three suspected members of a criminal group dedicated to defraud banks, using forged bank documents collection.
The facts that led to the arrest of the suspects were developed in the vicinity of a bank in the town of Sewell, when agents of the police station in the city in prevention functions offenses detected the presence of three people whose attitude caught their attention.
One of them was outside the bank office with a vehicle, one inside and one on nearby, in vigilance.
When officers came to their identification, were found them in his possession several forged documents, among which a promissory note in the amount of 1515.50 euros carrying the person who was inside the office, intending to collect it to be found a fake ID.
After an arrest of the three and after analyzing the documents seized and practice other steps, it was learned that the detainees were part of an organized and structured group dedicated to fraud and acted with a prior distribution of functions.
In this distribution of tasks each were responsible for the theft of documents like bank checks and promissory collection bearer, mainly in financial centers mailboxes, mail carriers or neglect;
other group members are charged with forgery and last step consisted of collectors, who were responsible for getting the money in the bank or cash.
At the time of the arrest, including carrying personal belongings and found the registration in the vehicle, agents seized 5,676 euros in cash, seven notes to bearer of different banks worth 18,357 euros willing to collection, two forged identity documents, several payroll on behalf of different people and a knife hidden in the vehicle, which was also involved.
The detainees, two men and a woman of Spanish nationality and aged between 35 and 36, are charged with the crimes of fraud, forgery and belonging to a criminal organization.
They were brought before the magistrate Murcia Guard last July 5.
