On Friday morning, was held in the Auditorium of the Centre for Citizen Participation (buildings ERDF by the Museo de la Huerta), the prize drawing contest of the "GROWING IN SAFETY" than a year the City Council, with the departments of Education and Personal, with service on Prevention of Occupational Risks, have been developing it along to the sponsor of the same Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the Region of Murcia, body under the Ministry of Employment and President of the Region of Murcia.
The delivery of these awards was chaired by the director of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of the Region of Murcia, Maria Villanueva Angeles River, along with the deputy mayor of the City Sewer, Juan José Gómez Hellin and the deputy mayor of the area Culture and Education, Patricio Pérez Fernández.

This new edition of the "GROWING IN SAFETY", has been catering to over 18,000 students in grades 5 Primary of all public and private schools in the region.
Specifically Sewer have participated in nine schools "Nuestra Señora de la Asunción", "Jacinto Benavente", "Campoamor", "The Tejeras", "Jara Carrillo," "Our Lady of Health", " vistabella "," St. Joseph the Worker "and the educational institution agreed" Samaniego ".
The competition 225 students have participated, namely: "Our Lady of the Assumption" - 13 students, "Jacinto Benavente" 20 students, "Campoamor" 12 students, "The Tejeras" 15 students, "Jara Carrillo" 61 students "Our Lady of Health" 18 students, "Vistabella" 13 students, San José Obrero 10 students and teaching center concerted "Samaniego" 63 students.
The campaign is a first contact of students with the prevention of occupational hazards and is designed for schoolchildren learn to act with caution in circumstances likely to endanger their safety or health, so that they are shown how avoid risks in their usual environment, ie at home, school, the park or the street, and that may result in accidents or undesirable conditions.
It is important that students can face liability risks of their environment and internalize prevention as a natural habit in their daily lives.
In this sense, we must seize the ease with which students internalize these ages certain behaviors to project a culture of prevention that must accompany them throughout life.
Students have participated in discussions in which professionals have shown to school the most common risks in daily, such as falls, burns, electrical hazards, cuts, wounds, or knock activity and the measures they can take to avoid them.
The campaign has had this drawing competition which is now ending all local phases in the different municipalities and other regional, with the first awards.
With this initiative, in which they have participated since its first edition, more than 100,000 students across the region, is one of the measures included in the IV Regional Plan for the Prevention of Occupational Risks, making prevention is taken into account from very early age, implying that every time we have a market much safer and healthier working.
