The Cabinet has given the green light to an agreement for the provision of home help service to people in situations of dependency in the town of Sewell.
This agreement is included in the System for Autonomy and Care for Dependency, which is promoting health counseling through the Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS) and plans to extend to all municipalities in the region.
Besides the town of Sewell, have already signed agreements with the municipalities of Puerto Lumbreras and Abarán, for a total amount of 465,000 euros in 2014, and soon Yecla and Alhama de Murcia will be incorporated.
So far, these beneficiaries receiving a financial benefit linked to service while following the implementation of this public service, able to directly receive home help service.
This type of aid leads to better care for this group, requiring special support for activities of daily living and increase their autonomy.
Actions include related personal attention, focused on maintaining the basic skills in performing activities of daily living services and other related home care or home needs.
