PP deputy Patricio Gomez has driven the full consensus of the Board to approve an amendment to the proposed UI to create a commission of inquiry into the causes of odors Sewer recorded in the last 13 and 18 February in which the CPM asks conducting epidemiological and statistical studies on the incidence of disease, determining air quality and cause odors or possible contamination, in Sewell and in the districts of Murcia, and Javalí New Sangonera The Seca.
The amendment expands PP Working Group's proposal and requested that this committee of inquiry include the local authority, the delegation of the Government and the competent organs of the regional administration, citizens and representatives, to address issues of industry environment, public health and civil protection, which affect the environmental situation in Sewell.
The text has been approved by groups claiming also request the attendance of the Minister of the Presidency in the Regional Assembly to account for the current status of Air Plan for the Region of Murcia, and the actions taken in relation to episodes occurred in Sewell and other nearby areas.
Also calls required to the competent bodies of the Autonomous Community to continue studies and actions required, using the best available techniques and expand the range of substances that can be detected.
