Sewer IU-Greens today proposed holding a public informational meeting for residents of the municipality to know the status of air quality and the actions carried out by the government about pollution episodes.
The training has raised the proposal at the meeting of the Committee on Air Quality which took place this morning in Sewell, who participated in the technical direction of the General Environment spokesmen for local groups and government team and representatives of the platform 'Clean Air'.
According to IU-Greens, for convening this open assembly ensure the necessary transparency principle and would meet neighbors firsthand what governments are doing to improve air quality in the town.
It has also proposed to the government team to conduct a "comprehensive" study of air quality and install sensors polluting compounds and evenly distributed around the chemical companies and plastics.
It has also raised the need for the City Council request the counseling Presidency to place monitoring stations in the city center, to report through screens, exclusively and in real-time on the status of air quality .
It has asked the City Council to enact legislation on odor and control the processes performed in the chemical industries in the municipality and the closeness that can affect if toxic cloud.
