The IU-Greens spokesman on the City Sewer, Carmen Maria Pina, has filed a motion in Parliament next Thursday which includes measures to eliminate pollution episodes in the town.
The training team has proposed to Government to carry out a "comprehensive" study of air quality and install sensors polluting compounds and evenly distributed around the chemical companies and plastics.
It has also raised the need to request the Chair to place counseling measuring stations in the city center, to report through screens, exclusively and in real-time on the status of air quality.
The initiative asks the City Council to enact legislation on odor and control the processes performed in the chemical industries in the municipality and the closeness that can affect if toxic cloud.
It urges the council to require a Presidency and the general direction of Public Safety to complete the External Emergency Plan Sewer (PLANQUIAL) because not stipulate how to manage episodes like last January 13.
For IU-Greens, is "very important" that these proposals matching ads Hall, to be undertaken by the government team at the next plenary session and put in place urgently, in order to protect the population against pollution episodes.
