In recent years, the number of people engaging in physical and sports activities in public facilities has increased considerably, a fact that can be explained in different ways, it seems that it is a greater awareness of the benefits of physical activity in health, wellness and pleasure-seeking, and improved social relations.
In response, municipal facilities are constantly evolving to meet the demands of the population and promote the sport as well as physical exercise voluntarily.
The City Sewer meets the above mentioned creation in recent years, new sports facilities such as municipal halls, paddle tennis courts, football pitches with artificial turf, running track ...
But now because of the crisis in which we find ourselves not everyone can afford to pay a monthly fee in some sporting activity or rental tracks so they can only play the sport for free, but this should not be an impediment to the development of an active lifestyle why the Sports Council Sewer proposes a series of activities that can be performed in the spaces offered by the sports center which will allow users to improve and maintain a state of optimal shape for health.
Objectives
The Sports Council proposed a plan with the double objective to exploit the supposed "certain areas" of the sports center to offer their citizens who use them voluntarily and not directed to their daily physical activity, the project is set creating a circuit different areas of exercise that leverages the built elements of sports, without making any new financial investment.
It is a process of using the most functional exercise to practice sports.
In addition to this idea, you can give the user a series of exercises to work wide and varied muscle groups, which will be a tool for the development of basic physical abilities (endurance, strength, speed and flexibility) that are closely related health, designed according to this objective and specific to 3 different levels designed for that, being a global supply budget (for all ages and conditions), keep some degree of specificity is required for a development or physical adjustment after completion of exercise.
It aims to achieve a number of goals and they depend on the success or otherwise of the program will be the following:
Promoting physical activity for all ages and practice freely and autonomously.
Create a new range of possibilities for physical practice within the sports center.
Inform users of this program how to work certain muscle groups exploiting the less common areas of the facility.
Also provide, in addition to the exercises, a series of stretches for flexibility work, for those who doubt its proper performance and importance.
Physical Activity Program
This is a circuit training or "circuit training" of dividing the tasks at different stations containing a distinct and complementary mission to the other, ie, some are for working the muscles of the lower body and other train higher, some to improve strength, others endurance, flexibility, speed.
The overall objective of the program is to get your participants, cardiovascular improvements as well as improving muscle strength and endurance and speed.
It is shown under a broad scientific base circuit training, with proper regulation of such exercises, training volume and right intensity, reported significant changes that have a positive influence on the physical form of the participant.
At each station there will be 3 different intensity levels for both beginners and advanced, for increased strength and endurance will be progressive and participants can choose the level appropriate to their characteristics intensity and if they wish, be able to move from the baseline to the maximum.
To recognize easily be colored levels: With the green Level1: L1, with the light orange Level2: L2 and dark orange with the Level3: L3.
This will be distributed in different areas of the sports information boards where you can perform exercises based on your fitness, so they may practice them from people who have never practiced physical activity to athletes with a high fitness.
In each area there are 3 levels and 3 levels for beginners to advanced, for some tests following each considers in which to start.
The time required to complete 12 stations ranging from two hours for level 1 beginners, three hours for level 3 advanced.
No need for all stations every day and can combine other day.
As an example, we propose different alternatives and their estimated time duration for the most basic level:
Stations: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12, with a total time of 2 hours.
Stations: 1-2-3-4-5-9, with a total time of 1 hour and a half.
Stations: 1-2-3-6-11-10, with a total time of 1 hour.
Stations: 1-2-3-5-7-12, with a total time of 1 hour and a quarter.
The circuit design has been developed for three graduates in Science of Physical Activity and Sport Sewer.
