On Wednesday, October 9 met at the offices of Citizen Participation Center, located in the new building next to the Museo de la Huerta, the commission created to study the actions to be developed to meet the most disadvantaged and are more intense suffering the economic crisis, and that will be part of the future Local Plan for Social Inclusion.
The said meeting was chaired by the mayor of Sewell, Lazarus Mellado and was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Social Services, Health Hernandez, the Head of Education Services, Isabel Moreno, Chief of Services of the Department of Social Services Soledad Lorente and the Coordinator of the Legal Service, Francisco Javier Galián, all of them representing the City.
Also present were representatives of the Red Cross Sewer, AFAD, Caritas, City Workshop, Neighborhood Coordinator, Campico Workshop School The Marist Brothers and COPEDECO (Cooperative for Community Development).
The meeting launched necessary initiatives to create the working committees, as well as the composition and timing of actions of the same.
On behalf of all the attendees showed great concern for the situations that many families are living in the municipality and the urgent need to work in coordination to develop the Local Plan for Social Inclusion.
It was agreed to hold a meeting on the 23rd of this month to finish creating the various committees and get to work as quickly as possible.
