The head of Murcia, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, received today at the Palacio de San Esteban, in Murcia, chief Colonel Air Base Sewer and director of the Military Academy Parachute 'Mendez Stop', Antonio Sánchez Flores, during its recent addition to this destination.
Colonel Antonio Sanchez Flores, 53, native of Murcia, joined General Air Academy (AGA) as a member of the 36th promotion.
He was promoted to lieutenant in 1984, and his first assignment was at the School of Transportation and Air Traffic in Matacdn (Salamanca).
In 1985 he was assigned to the Air Base of Sewell, where he rose to captain and then to major.
While in Sewell, joined the mission in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
In 2002, he was assigned to the Air Staff, as a staff officer, and was promoted to lieutenant colonel in 2003.
Back at the AGM, held the Head of Group Material and later the Chief of Air Force Group.
In 2010 he was assigned to the Defense Attaché in the Embassy of Spain in the UK and the Republic of Ireland, where he rose to colonel, passing Logistics Support Command of the Air Force.
He has received various awards throughout his career, including Service Medal European Security and Defence Policy (2009), Board of the Royal and Military Order of St. Hermenegildo (2008) and White Distinctive Naval Merit Cross ( 2007).
