Sewer IU-Greens tabled a motion to the full next Tuesday for the government team's report on the debt with the company Latbus Hall, which has led to the total elimination of subsidized bonds, and what is proposed to address that payment.
Councillor Carmen Maria Pina has indicated that the council, after more than a year of negotiations, still not reach an agreement with Latbus to solve the debt, generated, in his view, by the "incompetence and irresponsibility PP policy" .
This reduction will affect students, in addition to other sectors of the population who lost their grants in January 2012 as pensioners, the disabled and large families in the municipality.
"The only thing that has gotten the PP with its privatization policy is that users have to pay for public transport surely the most expensive ticket in the Region, and the removal of lines and route changes and stops."
He assured that the City must be accountable for the negotiation process with Latbus and explain what the real problem for which, after so many months of meetings, no agreement has been reached.
In the initiative, Pina also requires the government team to resolve the problem and restore the subsidies to provide a service tailored to the needs and resources of public transport users in Sewell.
