Sewer has surrendered at noon today in the Plaza Adolfo Suárez, a tribute to the Flag and Fallen by Spain, part of the events held on the occasion of Columbus Day.
The City Sewer and taxed wanted this tribute, and for this has been the Air Force, through the Air Base Sewer who has done the same, with the participation of the Squadron Squadron Spenders and Honors formed by personnel from the Parachute Squadron Sappers (EZAPAC) and Escuela Militar "Méndez Stop", the act being chaired by Mayor Sewer, Lazaro Sanchez Mellado and Colonel Chief of Air Base Sewer, Alberto Gallego Gordon.
A success of participation and demonstration of affection and gratitude of the people of Culvert with the Air Force, especially with the military Air Base Sewer, in absolute harmony of coexistence between civil society and the military family during the more than 60 years of existence of the same.
The ceremony was also attended various military civilian authorities, among whom was the CEO of Defense in the Region of Murcia, Captain, Juan Manuel Bayo, who along with a large number of neighbors witnessed the development of the act, in which were also 100 students of the College of Education and Primary "Jara Carrillo", being very close to the location where we celebrated the act.
The planned program began with military punctuality, entering training at 12:55 hours from Station Street to the square Lorca Adolfo Suárez, to adopt the same position.
At 13 hours, with the arrival of Colonel Gallego to the square, the official ceremony began, giving the Head Line news and an overview of the forces, accompanied by the Mayor.
Then nine military staged entry and subsequent opening of the National Flag of Spain of 54 square meters (6 x 9 meters), being hoisted on the mast 25 meters high which is installed in the square, to the strains of the national anthem first and subsequent interpretation of the hymn of the Air Force.
Emotional, no doubt, was the time which he rendered homage to the fallen by Spain with the shot of a rifle salute by the bite he formed with the other military personnel, in honor of the soldiers of all time, framed in the armies of Spain, who once fought bravely, loyally served and died with honor, with the offering by the Mayor of Sewer and Colonel Chief of the Air Base, a coronal bay at the foot of the pedestal in which he was the patron of the Air Force, the Virgin of Loreto.
