The rise of the bus ticket in the town of Sewell has increased by 49% this year, following which the council has withdrawn the subsidy paid to the company Latbus and also due to tax increases, which has the Public Transport in the Region of Murcia, 8% more expensive in the intercity bus fares from regional competition April 26.
All this has meant that the ticket price has gone from having a cost of 1.45 € at the end of the year to € 2.15 today.
Also UPyD Sewer has also denounced the rise of the ticket price commuter train that occurred from May 1 and that has meant an increase of 0.40 cents, from 1.40 to 1.80 euros, representing an increase of almost 30%.
Sewer UPyD considered exaggerated and unsustainable public transport prices for the citizens of the municipality, and requires that decisions are taken by the Consistory, tending to lower prices.
