On March 2 there was an unprecedented event in our center.
A classmate was assaulted with the greatest violence, another was threatened with death and all the faculty suffered the insults and threats of the same type repeatedly.
This has been an incident occurred which has meant a blow to the teachers involved, who did their duty so exquisite, and the entire faculty in general.
How long and how far we must endure this shame?
These attacks have been suffered but our companions, the prejudice extends to all faculty, which has digested unnecessarily an episode of terror in the center and felt physical abuse and their honor sullied so much as the teachers assaulted, affecting school life in every way, including students at the school who witnessed the shouting, verbal abuse and physical abuse received by teachers.
This is a veiled attack on the entire profession, which by extension, again, is abused and vilified with acts such as occurred here.
We want to show and communicate our deepest revulsion, our strong rejection of these events, because we feel empty and powerless against such acts against us.
We are vulnerable to these threats, prevention efforts need to slow down the ideas of aggression of which we object and purpose.
It is right that in the line of duty that our position requires endure such large strokes.
We urge the authorities to protect us, our workplace has the same status tuck any official institution, that professionals in schools are doing their work with the best guarantees of protection, and are not constrained by threats , insults and beatings.
The law should not allow this incident is resolved with a Pyrrhic ridiculous and economic sanctions, as this creates a breeding ground for aggressive behavior be repeated, because these people brag about their acts.
Want, without shame, to be punished in an exemplary manner the aggression that our colleagues have suffered.
We demand protection institutions and application of justice that provide or use the greater hardness than the law allows.
The law should not allow impunity for the perpetrators of this attack on our personal and professional dignity.
We can not provide the occasion for anyone to attack a school and take action against teachers as if in a bazaar border, because we are not bait, we are people, we are teachers who perform the work more constructively in our society, educate and teach and our greatest asset is the children and youth who are in our hands.
You can not threaten an asset as important to society such as teachers, and thus against the whole education system.
We ask the competent authority is aware that while these people have free access to schools, is in danger the physical integrity of the educational community: teachers, students and parents.
However, we deeply thank the outpouring of support from all sectors of society, fellow workers, unions, Counseling, AMPA, we are comforting, but we take this painful occasion for this same support and strength gain momentum a decision to protect the system from damage as we are suffering.
We on our part, we will continue our labor of love, with the same dedication as always, we will put everything on our part to keep educating, teaching and caring for all students.
