The project reaches Sewer GREEN HOMES next Sunday, November 21, from 17:00 to 21:00 pm in the Plaza Adolfo Suárez, where technicians and volunteers will install a stand Columbares information about the project and a tent in that, through an animation, children, youth and adults to help build a "Green Home" with his own hands by placing the bricks in this household, so the City Sewer, Association and IKEA Columbares institutions and companies that promote Sustainable Homes have invited the families of Murcia, this time to the Sewer and the districts in our area to participate in this initiative, education and awareness about sustainability in the home.
With this initiative forward to the messages people saving energy, water and waste, responsible consumption and sustainable mobility to apply in their home and daily activity.
All this in a dynamic and participatory.
Participants will learn various devices for saving energy and water, household waste reduction and use of solar energy.
In the tent, through cardboard materials and appliances represent elements of a real house, attendees will learn to apply these tips in your own home.
Through the stand will provide information to users on the Green Homes project and the activities that take place.
For this, the stand will have a general advertising material (brochures and posters), as well as specific broadcast material on the activities undertaken and how to participate.
There will also be saving materials and demonstrations to teach all people who come, such as a weather station, rechargeable battery & charger kit, mechanical timer, multi-switch power strips, power consumption meter, fair trade coffee bag fabric shopping bags, recycling, household compost or vermicompost, light bulbs and LED, economizers for faucets, tank bags, weatherstripping, solar mills, etc.
Additionally and in order to raise awareness in the town of Sewell, there will be 3 theoretical and practical workshops aimed at groups of citizens.
These workshops consist of a theoretical session that may concern the following topics:
• Changing climate, economy and energy efficiency and saving water at home.
° Waste, recycling and responsible consumption.
· Mobility sustainable and efficient driving.
And a practice session, which will be demonstrated in water consumption, energy consumption measurements, sample home composter, solar mills, etc.

Green Homes
Green Homes is an initiative of the Association Columbares-financed by the Fund collaborates IKEA-to raise public awareness about the importance of their daily habits have on the environment and improving the sustainability of households.
The project aims to promote a change of attitudes in Murcia families in different areas of the home (water, energy, transportation, waste, purchase, etc..), Demonstrating that simple measures can achieve energy and cost savings without reducing the welfare , while contributing to the fight against climate change and environmental conservation.
