A performance attended as observers two inspectors from the European Union and three Area Fisheries Government Delegation in the Region of Murcia

Civil Guard officers and staff inspector of Fisheries and Aquaculture Service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water in the Region of Murcia pinned yesterday, at the facilities of the Sewer Fish Market, 102 kilos of fish parts sword (Xiphias gladius) that were exposed in the market for sale to retailers.
The measure was adopted during the inspection tasks that were developed in dozens of top positions of the auction, during which the fish is tested as one of those posts was not properly labeled, a circumstance that prevented the owner to prove their legal provenance and traceability.
A verification performances attended by two inspectors from the European Union, as well as three inspectors of the Department of Fisheries of the Government Delegation in the Region of Murcia.
Swordfish has been immobilized waiting for the day today the owner contribute the mandatory documents to prove their lawful origin.
The facts, initially establishing administrative infringement of the legislation on marine fisheries, have been reported to the Ministry of Agriculture and Water.
