On Thursday October 21 at 12:00 pm, chaired by the Delegate of the Government in the Region of Murcia, Rafael González Tovar and Sewer Mayor Lazaro nicked will place the first stone of commencement of rehabilitation works and Improvement of the athletics track and football field, amounting to € 2,006,452 and the low voltage Electrical Installation to the football field with artificial turf and new running track for an amount of € 222,702, in particular existing sports facilities near the main entrance of the summer swimming within the projects submitted by the city of Sewell and approved by the National Government, being funded by the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability through Ministry of Public Administration.
The project was designed by architect Luis Aycart, the first one and engineers Pay Pascual and Juan Lopez, the second.
Currently the sports complex, situated at Master Josefina Lozano, opposite the main entrance of the summer swimming, consisted of a 400 meter track with six lanes and soccer field, two ground floor facilities, existing likewise a perimeter track of land along the entire plot.
This new project involves the rehabilitation of the football field and running track 400 m to provide it with standard measures approved by the IAAF, including in the same disciplines also pole vault, high jump, long jump, triple jump and shot put.
In the same retaining walls are planned to increase the land available and enable the creation of steps to contain inside: 2 general costumes, 4 soccer locker room, 4 separate changing rooms for the referees and sports instructors, and 2 public toilets and 1 store for sports equipment.
Also enable an outside track perimeter creating an overpass to save the entry area to provide continuity and prevent the movement of persons for the same.
The athletics track will be designed and paved the football field turf and outdoor track.
Including in the proposed treatment of slopes and the paving of areas and step in order to improve conditions in the maintenance and use of sports facilities.
As for the electrification will have four columns of 20 meters, equipped with 8 projectors of 2,000 w.
each, and all exterior wiring with 6 staffs of 10 meters, and wiring inside the toilets and changing rooms.
The project includes the following areas for different actions to perform on it: athletics track and football field: 14,826 m2, outdoor track: 1,640 m2, containment perimeter walls with an average height of five meters, 265 meters, Outdoor Floor: 1,472 m2.
Bleachers and locker rooms: 688 m2.
Lead time for this important project in the municipal sports facilities is four months, once the works have been awarded to the company General group, SL in terms of the Rehabilitation and Improvement Project, while the electrical installation has been ELECTROMUR awarded to the company, SA
