Huermur has filed a complaint in the Seprona of the Civil Guard so that the Benemérita require the corresponding permits that Culture must have issued to be able to carry out works and interventions in the BIC monument of the Sewer Wheel, as well as to ensure compliance with the law of patrimony.

Similarly, a letter has been submitted to the Ministry of Culture requesting the precautionary halt of the works until the mandatory authorizations of the General Directorate of Cultural Assets for the works appear.

Huermur has not found in the files provided by Culture any authorization or permission to allow the works on the monument, since they remember that the Law obliges to obtain them before any type of intervention in a BIC.

The conservation organization has requested the Ministry of Culture the immediate location of the materials knocked down, as they remember that they were attached to the Sewer Wheel and therefore are also BIC.

The Association for the Conservation of the Garden and the Heritage of Murcia (Huermur) has filed a complaint in the Seprona of the Civil Guard before the suspicion that the works and work being done by the Board of Landowners in the monument of the Wheel of Sewer, declared of Cultural Interest, are being carried out presumably without the corresponding authorizations that must have been issued by the Directorate General of Cultural Assets of the Ministry of Culture, before the start of works on the protected monument.

For this reason it has requested the armed institute that requires those responsible for the work, and the Board of Landowners as promoter of the same and owner of the Wheel, the relevant permits of the Ministry of Culture, as well as the corresponding municipal planning license that must of having issued the Sewer City Council.

In the same sense, Huermur requested information from Culture last week about the demolition of structures attached to the Sewer Wheel, as well as the work that is being done since the beginning of March in the BIC of the Sewer Wheel, all due to the lack of posters in the work itself that inform about what works are being executed, start date, authorization reference, etc.

Huermur also appeared in the General Directorate of Cultural Assets of the Autonomous Community last Wednesday to ask about what was happening and to see the requested files, being able to verify how in the files provided in the General Directorate there were not presumably authorizations or permits to intervene on the BIC.

In this way, the conservationist group has asked the Ministry of Culture to inspect the works and work that have been carried out for weeks in the BIC of the Sewer Wheel, and if appropriate urge the precautionary stoppage of work until it is clarified the situation, the permissions appear, and if finally Culture appreciated indications of some presumed irregularity, apply the sanctioning regime of the Law of Cultural Patrimony of Murcia.

Finally, Huermur has also requested information from the Sewer City Council about the works, since there is no sign indicating the municipal urban planning license or the date of granting it.
