Today Thursday will be inaugurated at 20:00 hours, in the Municipal Historical Archive, in the House of Cayitas, the temporary exhibition "Arqueología Ãbero-Romana Alcantarilla: Daniel Serrano Várez Alcantarilla through time", organized by the Town Hall of Alcantarilla and promoted by the Legacy Association, with the collaboration of companies and local entities such as the Vicent López Foundation, Yoigo Alcantarilla, Grupo Baños, Murcia Betting, Vigilant and La Paz Hotel-Restaurant.
The exhibition will remain open until July 13.
"It is an exhibition that will have the technical and modern means necessary for Alcantarilla to take pride in its history shown through the archaeological remains found in the land of the sites located within our municipal area. we are convinced of our importance as a historical legacy of the Iberians and Romans who occupied these rich and fertile lands ", as the commissar of the same, Alejo García Almagro, has commented.
In the recovery of these vestiges, the teacher, already retired, Daniel Serrano Várez participated actively, indispensable person so that the narration of the history of Sewer through time has continuity between the fifth century before and after Christ.
With this Exhibition you also want to pay tribute to this alcantarillero, although Albacete from birth, who from the year 1970 to these days, has researched in a scientific way the archeology of Sewer, finding deposits, intensively studying them and publishing a large number of articles in specialized magazines, university works and in the magazine, today already book, "Cangilón".
The opening hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and also open on Friday afternoons, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
