The director of the Diocesan Delegation of Brotherhoods and Brotherhoods of the Diocese of Cartagena, Marcial Alarcón Martínez, offered on Saturday night, at the Cultural Center "Infanta Elena" Sewer, the Proclamation of Holy Week Sewer, act that organizes the Board of Brotherhoods and Pastoral Brotherhoods and where he was also given the scepter and the medal that distinguishes as Cofrade Mayor of Holy Week Sewer 2018, Juan Canovas Orcajada.
In an act that was presided over by the mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía Gómez, the president of the Board of Brotherhoods and Pastoral Brotherhoods, José Sánchez del Cerro and the chaplain of the same and parish priest of San Pedro, José Antonio Moreno Granados.
The act conducted by the journalist alcantarillero in Popular Television, Angel Jover Terol, began with the drum rolls of the Children's Group of the Brotherhood of Christ of the Good Death, to go to distinguish, by the Board of Brotherhoods and Brotherhoods Passionaries, as Chief Cofrade of Holy Week 2018, Juan Canovas Orcajada, for many years of dedication to the Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of the Good Death, as a brother, four years of President and, currently, Honorary President of the same, or his ten years as Secretary of the Board of Government of the Brotherhood of San Juan Evangelista, highlight that Nazarene spirit.
To this we must add the captures he has made with his photographs, many in black and white, of special moments of our Holy Week.
This long trajectory within the Nazarene world of Sewer, is sufficient reason for such distinction.
The Proclamation of the Holy Week of Sewer 2018, was offered by the director of the Diocesan Delegation of Brotherhoods and Brotherhoods of the Diocese of Cartagena, Marcial Alarcón Martínez, of great brilliance, for his wide and recognized Nazarene career, announcing the Week of Passion and praising our Holy Week, day by day, step by step, following the routes of our twelve brotherhoods and sewer brotherhoods, highlighting the importance that it has.
Our town crier has participated in a multitude of publications, presentations and proclamations, both for the regional geography and nationally, highlighting his contributions in a large number of magazines of court and Nazarene in the capital of Murcia, as well as in the different points of the Region, including Alcantarilla, participating in the magazine Sepulcher of the Archconfraternity of the Most Holy Body of Christ "Lord of the World" and Santo Entierro, or beginning his work path back in 1982, in a sewer company.
The mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, congratulated the winners of the Board of Brotherhoods, as well as the town crier and closed his words, as he does in his collaboration in the Semana Santa de Alcantarilla magazine, "How time goes by It seems that a few weeks ago Adolfo Suárez's plaza vibrated, full of people, to meet our Resurrected Lord Jesus Christ with his mother, but the permanent turn of our planet, around the sun, marks the impeccable rhythm of time, and when our bright star reaches its spring equinox, on March 20 this year, tells us that another Holy Week is approaching.That rapid step of the days, which has left us the space of some dear people who traveled to the nearby sky, takes us everyone again to prepare for such special days of Passion, Culture and Tradition, especially to the Board of Brotherhoods that, with tireless work, rescheduled a great
njunto of acts that have in their processions their maximum moments of splendor ".
Among the novelties of this Holy Week we have the Children's Procession organized by the Board of Brotherhoods, next Friday, March 23, with departure at 10 in the morning, from the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, in the neighborhood from Campoamor, to the Church of San Pedro.
Running through the main street, as it passes through the sculpture to the Nazarene, all the centers will make a wreath as a tribute, involving some 1,500 students from all schools and day care centers in the city.
For the occasion the sisters of the Brotherhood of the Virgin of the First Pain, have prepared some small thrones with appropriate images for this age and representing all the fraternities and brotherhoods of Alcantarilla.
Another novelty is the new image, replacing the previous one, of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Sorrows, the Murcian sculptor Pedro Noguera, the same procession Holy Thursday and belongs to the Brotherhood of Our Lord of the Column, the Descent and Stma Virgin of the Anguishes.
And for Resurrection Sunday, the Brotherhood of Ntro.
The Resurrected Lord Jesus Christ celebrates its 25th anniversary and, therefore, the Encuentro, which takes place at around 10:30 am, will not take place as in recent years in Adolfo Suárez Square, but where it was done from its first years, in the street Mayor, in Entrevías, taking, if time does not prevent it, the petals launching when the Encuentro is held, in charge of the PAPEA, the Air Force Parachute Patrol, in which the subsequent procession will be present and accompany the Delegate of the Government, Francisco Bernabé.
