The Community, through the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities, has signed an agreement with 12 municipalities for the exchange of data and the implementation of a single file on Social Services that will allow the processing times with the Administration regional average is shortened by about three months.
The Minister of Family and Equal Opportunities, Violante Tomás, today signed the agreements with the Town Hall of Alcantarilla, through our Mayor, Joaquín Buendía, along with the rest of the municipalities of Aledo, Alguazas, Blanca, Cartagena, Ceuta, La Union , Librilla, Lorca, Lorquí, Molina de Segura and Torre Pacheco.
These join other ten signed on January 26 with the same purpose, so that a total of 22 municipalities already benefit from the aforementioned single file.
After the accession, municipal technical personnel will be able to share with the Murciano Institute of Social Action (IMAS) the procedures of Dependency, Disability assessment and Basic Insertion Income, among others.
Some 70,000 Social Services users who process their files with the IMAS will benefit when the system is extended to the rest of the municipalities and the Social Services associations.
The electronic exchange will allow the data and mandatory reports made by the professionals of the Social Services of the municipalities, both in training and processing of procedures related to the IMAS, can be prepared using the Unified System of the Information System of Users of Social Services (SUSI) of the Community, which is an indispensable tool in their daily work.
The SUSI is an electronic window between the Units of Social Workers of local entities and the IMAS for the management of procedures in social matters.
Its implementation allows the consultation of the state and the most important details of all the files managed in the IMAS with respect to a citizen: residence address, representative, notification address, notification form, date of birth, data of their parents, ID. and health card, among others.
The agility in the files of Dependency will be considerable, since with this system it is possible to be consulted from the municipalities the procedures and their state, values ​​of degree, granted services, resolutions received, requested centers, documents required and delivered and appointments for valuation.
Transmission of data with security
SUSI also manages the authorization of the citizen for the cession of his data to the corresponding City Council, in the event that he had not previously stated it in any of the IMAS requests.
For this purpose, there is an electronic record of cessions of data of the citizen, to which the citizen can request his discharge or discharge at the time he wishes.
For compliance with data security there is also an audit where each query is recorded, which citizen has been consulted, time, day, IP and data of the computer used for the query, professional who has made the query, and other electronic data of authentication.
