The Citizen Sewer group seats were empty during the development of the Sewer Plenary of the month of February.
Their councilors, Francisco Álvarez, Mª Dolores Jiménez and Yolanda García, preferred not to miss an act of their party, instead of going as it is their obligation, to the development of the Plenary Session of the Alcantarilla Town Hall, where the topics that truly matter to the neighbors of the municipality.
There was even the circumstance that a proposal of Citizens was voted, presented by the Mayor, so that his councilor Yolanda García would receive double the compensation she received without any of the councilors of Citizens being present during the vote.
The General Secretary of the Popular Party in Sewer, Juan Antonio Mata, criticizes the lack of responsibility of the Citizens group and notes that "this attitude shows the scant respect for the representation they hold before the residents of Sewer and with this attitude is clear who have come to politics to live on it and 'climb' within their organization at the expense of whatever, even the neighbors of Sewer. "
