The parish of Our Lady of the Assumption of Sewer has held a preparation course for marriage in the last two weekends in which 41 couples have participated.
According to the parish priest, Manuel Guillén, different topics of interest for couples have been worked on with the intention of helping them discover "the greatness of marriage with all its benefits and difficulties" through several talks in which topics such as conjugal love, communication, the education of children and the transmission of faith, commitment, changes and difficulties in life as a couple, sexuality, the Church as a family of families and the preparation of the Sacrament of Marriage.
"We thought that they were going to give us catechism talks like in school and yet they have been days of talking about serious things without getting bored," says one of the participants.
Other impressions collected these days: "I came up with the idea that this was going to be boring and I was not going with you, but in reality it's a pretty experience that helps a lot, when you get home you talk about the topics discussed and you are more or less Believer are themes that can help you in your married life "," they serve to strengthen the couple "," we came a little forced but we have discovered that there are interior issues that we did not know and that bring you a little closer to Jesus and the Church " , "One of the things we have learned is that the church is there to welcome us in difficult times and that we can always go to it."
