The president of the Community, Fernando Lopez Miras, received today at the San Esteban Palace the mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, with whom he reviewed some of the projects that will soon see the light in this municipality, as well as others related to the works that are being developed in terms of local financing and projects related to the railway.
In addition, in this meeting the need to complete the South Sewer Ring belt, giving continuity to the current Prince Avenue, was addressed.
It is foreseen that this same year the collaboration agreement between the Community and the City Council will be signed to allow progress in this bypass.
During this meeting, the mayor of Alcantarilla invited the regional president to participate in the acts that the City Council of this municipality is organizing to mark the 50th anniversary of the Museum of the Huerta, which will be the star element that will take Sewer to the International Tourism Fair (Fitur) that is celebrated in Madrid from tomorrow.
Likewise, and within the acts of celebration of that 50th anniversary, the mayor also transferred to the president the request that the Governing Council can develop some of its meetings in this municipality.
