The Director General of Territorial Planning, Architecture and Housing, Laura Sandoval, today presented to the residents of Alcantarilla the line of subsidies that will allow the rehabilitation of 100 homes located in the urban area of ​​the municipality, whose owners can receive up to 15,000 euros.
These aids are part of the development of Rehabilitation and Urban Regeneration Areas (ARRU) in the Region of Murcia, within the 2017 Housing Plan.
The subsidies, promoted by the Community and the Ministry of Development, aim to revitalize the urban centers of the towns and may finance up to half the budget of the works that in Sewer amounts to 493,000 euros, which will help higher than 220,000 euros.
Laura Sandoval highlighted the opportunity offered by public administrations to highlight the town's urban area, and indicated that these aids "will motivate new social and economic opportunities" for Alcantarilla.
The public subsidies may finance actions of conservation, renovation of facilities, accessibility and improvement of energy efficiency.
Thus, subsidies allow the execution of conservation works (foundation, structure, facilities, roofs, roofs, facades or other common elements), and improve accessibility to buildings through the installation of elevators, lifting mechanisms, access ramps or similar.
The Housing Plan, promoted by the Regional Executive and the Ministry, also promotes the improvement of energy efficiency.
In this regard, Sandoval explained that works are subsidized in carpentry and windows, installing or replacing heating, cooling, heating and ventilation production and works to improve the thermal insulation of networks and the installation of equipment that uses renewable energy.
