In response to the information published today, August 22, in the newspaper La Verdad, the Government of Alcantarilla City Council says that it is totally false the content that refers to the management of this town hall.
The Alcantarilla City Council does not have any gastronomic services contract with the restaurant La Trastienda during the pre-Fiestas or "Brujofest" held last April.
The establishments that provided gastronomic services in that event reached an agreement, or contract, voluntary by the parties, with the producer that ran with the organization and the expenses of the event.
Therefore, it is false that the City Council has issued or has to issue any invoice in this regard.
At the same time, it should be noted that no written complaint, denunciation or request for documentation regarding the "Brujofest" by anybody, nor the persons or entities that participated in the event have been presented at the City Hall.
Alcantarilla City Council reached an agreement with a producer of shows for the organization of some pre-parties from April 28 to May 1 under the name "Brujofest".
As can be seen in the extract of this agreement, the development of the event would not entail financial expense for the city council, the company pledging to pay the costs, organizing 12 concerts during those days with the corresponding lighting and sound, to the Installation of a giant tent with furniture, to give service of different brands of beer, to the installation of caravans of gastronomy, to the control of accesses.
At the same time, the production company would allow the development of the Bruges Pole Contest and the Tapas Contest, promoted annually by the Federation of Rock Sewers.
In addition, in the same frame would take place the 2nd Model Contest "Witch Pop".
All these events are part of the Alcantarilla party program.
The City Council, as can be seen in the extract of the agreement, would be responsible for the closure of the premises, installation of the stage, dressing rooms and toilets, cleaning and water and light supplies.
We also want to highlight the ease with which corruption is attributed to individuals, groups or institutions without providing a single piece of information or information.
From the Alcantarilla Town Hall, many procedures have been put in place, for the control of expenditure and for electronic administration, in order to advance the maximum objectivity and rigor of the Administration.
Lastly, the Government of Alcantarilla City wants to show a total rejection of any type of corruption and those attitudes and behaviors that seek to obtain personal, professional or business benefits from blackmail, political affiliation or any other form of coercion .
