Last Wednesday the Governing Council of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia approved the granting of subsidies to municipalities of more than 15,000 inhabitants for the recruitment of specialized staff to advise young people who do not benefit from the Youth Guarantee System in Search for an itinerary that facilitates their incorporation into the labor market.

The total amount of these subsidies will be € 374,833 and Sewer is one of the municipalities that will benefit from this measure.

Alcantarilla City Council, aware of the situation of many of the young people of our town, has bet once again on the continuity of a specialized service in vocational guidance and training that individually and personally attends youth between 16 and 29 years of age. Age that do not fulfill the requirements to be beneficiaries of the National System of Guarantee Juvenile.

The Youth Employment Service, attached to the Youth Council of our City Council, is part of the "FSE 2014-2020 Operational Program of the Region of Murcia" (PO FSE) and aims to promote sustainability and quality of employment, Contribute to improving guidance and brokerage systems and strengthen employment programs developed by local corporations.

Our City Council, as an administration close to the citizen, makes available to these young people this service, which comes to complete the one offered to the boys in that same age group who meet each and every one of the requirements to be beneficiaries of the System National Youth Guarantee, that is, under the age of 30 that at the time of their registration in said single file at the National level are not working, neither studying, nor receiving training for employment.

Access to the labor market is a fundamental aspect that concerns the City of Alcantarilla therefore we consider that it is vitally important to take care of these two profiles of young people and for this two services that we offer our city council.
