With special guests, students from two educational centers associated with the sewers through Erasmus +, namely the Helsinki-Uusimma (Finland) and Heraklion centers in Crete (Greece).
Alcantarilla Mayor Joaquín Buendía received in the Town Hall days past the European students from the Vaskivuoren Iukio schools, located in Helsinki-Uusimaa (Finland) and the Protopo Peiramatiko Geniko Lykeo Irakeion, located in Heraklion, Crete, Greece, Accompanied by their teachers, as well as the director of the Institute of Secondary Education "Francisco Salzillo", Purificación Martínez, where our municipality was made known and the great benefits we have in terms of climate, industry, culture, tourism, etc.
But today, within the III Day of Dissemination: Federico García Lorca, from Murcia to the moon, Mayor Alcantarilla, welcomed them and opened with the director of IES Francisco Salzillo the same.
There were also honorary consuls for our Region, Finland, Mariano Sánchez and Greece, Manuel Serrano.
Also present at this opening were the Councilor for Education, Juan Manuel Gómez and the Councilor for Culture, Maria Luisa Martínez.
This day is carried out within the framework of the project El español: passport between cultures.
Today they have presented a series of traditional songs compiled and musicalized by Federico García Lorca that have worked the young students of different educational centers Murcia, including the IES Francisco Salzillo, as well as the European Finnish and Greek students.
