In the morning of yesterday, the streets of Alcantarilla were filled with much colorful music and hundreds of children that by two points of concentration gathered at 11:30 in the square Adolfo Suarez.
More than 1,500 students have participated in the Carnival Children's Parade, organized by the Federation of Associations of Mothers and Parents, FAMPAMA, Campoamor, Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, Vistabella, Las Tejeras, Ntra. The Health, Samaniego, Children's Municipal School, the Eusebio Martínez Special Education Center and the Department of Education of the Alcantarilla City Council.
Being accompanied by the teachers of the centers and the mothers and fathers of the AMPAS.
This initiative has managed to recover the traditional Children's Carnival Parade with the aim of filling the streets of the town with the enthusiasm of the little ones with disguises that, mostly, have been made in workshops organized in the schools themselves.
The parade has had two meeting points in the square of San Pedro and in the vicinity of the Garden of Campoamor to continue to the Adolfo Suárez Square.
On the arrival of the small Carnival and Carnavaleras and after giving them a snack facilitated by the company Hero, started a participative Cantajuegos, delivering to its conclusion around the prizes for all participating centers of reading material, by the mayor of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, together with the Councilor for Education, Juan Manuel Gómez, as well as the representatives of FAMPAMA and the Fundación Vicent, the sponsor of the event.
As soon as the activities that had been programmed the pupils had finished, they again paraded and moved to their different schools.
Tomorrow, Sunday, the big carnival parade will start, starting at 11 o'clock in the morning, from the Rua Termo, along the main street and ending with the awards ceremony in the square of San Pedro, in front of the Town Hall, with more than two Thousand euros in prizes, with a participation that surpasses the twenty of groups and comparsas.
In this edition, there has again been the collaboration and sponsorship of Hero España and the Vicent López Foundation.
