From the Alcantarilla Town Hall we want to show our most absolute, and energetic, condemnation of the brutal aggression suffered by the young Andrés Martínez in the Plaza de Santa Isabel of the city of Murcia, last Sunday 11 December.
We want to transfer all our spirit, support and strength to the family of the young man who is currently admitted to the ICU of the Hospital Universitario Virgen de la Arrixaca and our desire for a speedy recovery.
It is not understandable that a person goes to a recreation facility and ends up in the ICU of a hospital because of an aggression from the staff that is supposed to be on the contrary, to guarantee the safety of those who access their establishment.
This City Council is, and will always be, against any violent act and we hope that justice acts as soon as possible, and in an exemplary way, so that people who exercise violence, as well as those who give them protection, disappear from our society .
