Sewer Mayor Joaquin Buendia has signed in this morning a collaboration agreement with the Association of Recycling and Reuse Southeast, through its president, Jose Manuel Teban, for the implementation of systems of selective collection of household waste textiles, footwear and toys, in order to put them back in value or for use as raw material in the manufacture of new clothes and belongings.

Both were accompanied by the Councillor for Social Welfare, Health, Francisca Terol.

The agreement will have the effect of one year, may be extended to another.

Joaquin Buendia said that "action to develop is the placement, at street level, 15 collection bins household waste textile, footwear and toys, whose location will be determined in a few days, from the Department of Works and Services. such action is performed with a double objective which is, on the one hand, provide residents of the municipality managing this type of waste generated in private homes, and on the other hand, promote social transformation processes and thus , activity and job creation, primarily aimed at groups at risk of social exclusion "is promoted.

Buendia said that "in this regard, the signing of this agreement provides two questions that complement, and are, the development of educational, social and occupational workshops. As well as the donation of four containers of clothes for Social Work with the project Recovers Caritas in the district of San José Obrero.
